Day 1Arrival in Jayapura – Wamena

Upon arrival in Jayapura by morning flight, you will be met by your local assistant to help you for the next flight to Wamena.. Upon arrival in Wamena, we’ll head directly towards Aikima, a village located in the northern part of the Baliem Valley. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the daily life of the Dani people, working in their sweet potato fields and going about their traditional routines. YOur journey continues with a walk through the lush pine forests around Suroba, crossing the Aike River via a scenic bridge. After soaking in the natural beauty and vibrant culture, return to town in the late afternoon. You’ll check in at your hotel, with dinner on your own.

Day 2Wamena District

After breakfast, we’ll drive to the southern part of Baliem Valley, where our trekking adventure begins at the village of Sogokmo, just 3 kilometers before Kurima. From here, we’ll embark on a scenic walk along the powerful Baliem River. Our path takes us across a suspension bridge and through traditional Dani settlements, surrounded by terraced fields and wild sugar cane groves. The trek offers stunning views over the river and the narrow valley below. We’ll stop for lunch at the charming church of Seinma, enjoying the beautiful landscapes around us. Before completing the trek, we’ll cross another suspension bridge near Kurima, providing perfect photo opportunities. If this trek proves too challenging, there’s an option to explore easier routes in the Sogokmo or Yetni areas. After the trek, we'll return to your hotel in the late afternoon. A packed lunch will be provided, with dinner on your own.

Day 3Wamena District

Today, we immerse ourselves in the rich culture of the Dani people. After breakfast, we’ll drive to Jiwika in the central Baliem Valley, where a warm and festive welcome awaits you. The Dani tribe members, dressed in their finest traditional attire, will greet you upon arrival. The village chief, standing on a traditional observation platform, will signal the start of the celebrations. One of the highlights is the "Mock Battle," a fascinating display of traditional warfare techniques that is both visually striking and culturally significant. It’s a rare experience, perfect for photography and video. We’ll also visit Sumpaima village to see the famous mummy of the Dugum clan, a revered artifact proudly presented by the villagers. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to explore other picturesque hamlets and browse local arts, crafts, and curiosities offered by the friendly natives. After a full day of cultural immersion, we’ll return to your hotel. A packed lunch will be provided, with dinner on your own.

Day 4Wamena - Jayapura - Sorong

Early morning, transfer to airport for your flight to your flight to Sorong. Upon arrival in sorong, meeting service then transfer to your hotel, check in and free for your own time.

Day 5Sorong - Raja Ampat District

After your breafast, transfer to harbor for your fast Ferry to the Waisai island, upon arrival, pick up by resort, then transfer to resort for overnight.

Day 6 - 7Raja Ampat District

After your Breakfast, free for your own time to Explore Raja Ampat, the magnificent view and underwater garden, Fantastic Collection of fish.

Day 8Raja Ampat - Sorong

After breakfast, transfer to harbor for your fast ferry to Sorong, then transfer to airport for your flight to your next Destination.

Your adventure begins with a flight to Wamena, the heart of Papua’s Baliem Valley. After arrival, we’ll head directly to Aikima, a charming village nestled in the northern part of the valley. Here, you’ll witness the daily life of the Dani people as they tend their sweet potato fields and engage in their traditional routines. The day continues with a serene walk through the lush pine forests of Suroba, crossing the Aike River via a picturesque bridge. After taking in the stunning landscapes and rich cultural ambiance, we return to town by late afternoon, where you’ll check into your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax or explore at your leisure. Dinner is on your own.

Day 2Trekking Adventure – Southern Baliem Valley

After breakfast, we set off for an exciting trek in the southern part of the Baliem Valley. Our journey starts at Sogokmo village, just 3 kilometers before Kurima. From here, we embark on a scenic hike along the powerful Baliem River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through traditional Dani settlements surrounded by terraced fields and wild sugar cane groves. The trek offers breathtaking views over the river and valley below, with a delightful stop for lunch at the picturesque church of Seinma. If the trek proves too challenging, there’s an option to explore easier trails in the nearby Sogokmo or Yetni areas. We return to your hotel by late afternoon, with a packed lunch provided. Dinner is on your own.

Day 3Cultural Immersion – Central Baliem Valley

Today is all about immersing yourself in the rich culture of the Dani people. After breakfast, we head to Jiwika village in central Baliem Valley, where a festive welcome awaits. The Dani villagers, dressed in their finest traditional attire, will greet you with warmth and hospitality. Day 4Departure from Wamena – Jayapura

In the early morning, we transfer to the airport for your flight back to Jayapura, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through the Baliem Valley.

Day 1Arrival in Jayapura – Flight to Wamena

Upon arrival in Jayapura by morning flight, you will be met by your local assistant to help you for the next flight to Wamena.. Upon arrival in Wamena, you’ll be transferred to Baliem Pilamo Hotel. After check-in, start your exploration with a drive to Aikima village, located in the northern part of the Baliem Valley. Here, you’ll encounter the Dani people, observing them working in their sweet potato fields and engaging in their daily activities. The tour includes a scenic hike through pine forests, crossing the Aike River via a bridge, and arriving at Suroba village. This 1-2 hour hike will take you through the beautiful countryside and traditional Dani houses. In the late afternoon, return to Wamena.

Day 2Wamena District

After breakfast, head to Jiwika in the central Baliem Valley for a day filled with cultural experiences. Upon arrival in the village, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the Dani tribe members, who will be dressed in their traditional attire to honor your visit. One of the highlights of the day is a “Mock Battle,” a unique and captivating event that showcases the traditional warfare techniques of the Dani people. This vibrant display, accompanied by traditional dance, is a photographer's dream and an unforgettable experience. Then visit Sumpaima village, where you’ll have the chance to see the famous mummy of the Dugum clan, proudly displayed by the locals. After exploring nearby picturesque hamlets, heading to the Kontilola Cave, a massive cavern partially collapsed, creating a lush, vegetated environment inside. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to purchase local arts, crafts, weapons, and curiosities. A packed lunch will be provided during the day, and after our exploration, return to the hotel.
