Day 1 : Airport – Kumai – National Park – Houseboat
Arriving at Pangkalan Bun airport, your tour guide will greet you and take you directly to Kumai. From there, on board cross the Kumai River, reaching the Sekonyer River in just 15 minutes. You will cruise upstream, arriving at the National Park. In the afternoon, you will embark to observe the unique Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. These monkeys are exclusive to Borneo. Afterward, overnight stay on the boat.
Day 2 : Houseboat – National Park – Houseboat
After breakfast, boating up to Pondok Tanggui, the second orangutan rehabilitation center. You will witness the captivating orangutan feeding session. Afterwards, return to the houseboat and continue to Camp Leakey, the park's highlight. Along the way, you will pass by the wildlife-rich black river, home to various birds, primates, fish, and crocodiles. Upon reaching Camp Leakey, visit the Information Center to learn about Dr. Birute Galdikas' work studying orangutans since 1971. In the afternoon, trekking into the forest to witness orangutan feeding. Back to the boat and cruise down to the Nipa Palm area to witness thousands of fireflies. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 3 : Houseboat – Kumai – Jogjakarta
Enjoy breakfast onboard the boat at Tanjung Harapan. Afterward, begin your journey down the river back to Kumai. Directly transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your flight to Semarang. Upon arrival in Semarang, pick up then proceed to Jogjakarta. Your guide will accompany you throughout your journey. Begin by exploring the city of Jogjakarta and Sultan Palace, including the intriguing ruin water castle. Next, delve into the craftsmanship of the region with a visit to a Silversmith home industry. Conclude your day with a visit to the magnificent Prambanan Temple.
Day 4 : Village tour - Borobudur temple tour
After breakfast, embark on a full-day trip starting with a visit to the awe-inspiring Borobudur Temple, marveling at its ancient grandeur and spiritual significance. Additionally, experience the traditional way of life in Candirejo Village by using bicycle or traditional horse cart, gaining insights into local customs and traditions.
Day 5 : Jogjakarta - Surabaya by Train
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the train station for your journey to Surabaya. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you, and you'll head towards the enchanting Mount Bromo area. Along the scenic route, you'll make a memorable stop at the breathtaking Marakadipura Waterfall. Expect to arrive in the Bromo area by afternoon, allowing ample time to unwind and prepare for the upcoming adventures.
Day 6 : Mount Bromo tour - Makassar
Begin your day with a wake-up call at 3:45 am for an unforgettable Mt. Bromo Tour. Your guide will pick you up promptly. You'll embark on a thrilling journey in a classic 4WD jeep to reach Penanjakan Hill, where you'll witness the breathtaking sunrise over the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant hues. After soaking in the mesmerizing views, continue your adventure with the same 4WD jeep, getting closer to the base of Mount Bromo for an up-close encounter with its majestic beauty. Return to your hotel to freshen up and prepare for your departure to Surabaya Airport for Makassar (South Sulawesi). Upon arrival in Makassar, meeting service then transfer to your hotel.
Day 7 : Makassar - Toraja
Upon your arrival at Makassar airport, your guide will greet you and promptly escort you to Toraja. En route through the Buginese area, you will be mesmerized by the sight of distinctive stilt houses framed by breathtaking landscapes and towering mountains. Your journey will feature several captivating stops, including a visit to the renowned Erotic Mountain in Enrekang, a city along the route to Toraja. By afternoon, you'll reach the fascinating destination of Toraja.
Day 8 : Toraja Tour
After your breakfast, embark on a captivating journey through the fascinating villages of Toraja, each adorned with unique Tongkonan Houses reminiscent of ship bows and sterns. Day 10 : Toraja - Makassar - Departure
After breakfast, today you are back to Makassar, directly to airport for your flight home.
