Itinerary
Upon arrival at Ambon Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Natsepa. Enjoy a city tour of Ambon, visiting various points of interest.
After breakfast, transfer to Tulehu Harbour to board a fast boat at 09:00 AM. Cross the Ambon Strait to Amahai Harbor, which takes approximately 2 hours in a comfortable air-conditioned cabin. From Amahai, travel by road through the primary jungle for about 5 to 6 hours to Sawai village, located near Manusela National Park.
After breakfast, meet your Avatar Guide and porter. Prepare for trekking by car to the starting point, possibly stopping to observe the local process of turning sago palm into sago powder. Begin trekking with your guide through Manusela Rainforest, setting up camp by the river. Explore further after a lunch box meal.
Wake up to the sounds of the jungle. After breakfast, continue trekking deep into Manusela Rainforest. Observe various bird species like Hornbills, Moluccan Cockatoos, and lorikeets. Arrive at the main road and walk to Masihulang village. Visit an NGO dedicated to rehabilitating confiscated birds before releasing them back into the wild.
After breakfast, return to Ambon Island. Travel to Masohi, the capital of Seram Region. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before boarding the fast ferry back to Ambon. Upon arrival in Ambon, transfer to Natsepa Area, located just 10 minutes from the harbor.
