Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service then direct transfer to Kumai harbor. You will  head straight to the houseboat. Afterward, cruising down the Kumai River to reach the Seikonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Along the way, You will enjoy scenic views of lush vegetation, including Nipa Palm and Pandanus trees, and have the chance to spot various wildlife such as birds, Macaques, Proboscis Monkeys, and Orangutans. If time allows, you will visit Tanjung Harapan for the Orangutan feeding session , afterwards continue boating up the river to observe and learn more about Proboscis Monkeys along the riverbanks. Overnight on boat.

After breakfast, boating up to Pondok Tanggui, the second orangutan rehabilitation center, to witness the orangutan feeding , Continue your journey up river to Camp Leakey, the park’s highlight. Along the way, you will pass by the black river, teeming with wildlife such as birds, primates, fish, and crocodiles. Upon arrival at Camp Leakey, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Information Center and learn about the work of Dr. Birute Galdikas, who has been studying orangutans here since 1971. Then embark on a forest trek to witness orangutan feeding. After that boating down to the Nipa Palm area to marvel at thousands of fireflies. Overnight On boat.Top of Form

Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast onboard before embark on a direct transfer to Lopus Village via private car, a journey of approximately 5 hours. Upon reaching Lopus Village, take some time to explore the village and enjoy a free program in the afternoon. In the evening, after dinner, you will be warmly welcomed by the Dayak Tomun with their Bagondang ceremony. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in traditional dancing with the Dayak people while they serve rice wine. After the ceremony, return to the longhouse or local house for over night.

After breakfast, proceed by car to Kudangan Village for sightseeing, where you will have the chance to explore more longhouses. Afterward, drive back to Pangkalan Bun, a journey of approximately 5 hours, Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun, directly to the hotel for check-in and overnight

After breakfast at the hotel and have some free time at your leisure before you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
