OPTIONAL DAILY TOURS IN JAVA
SUMULUH CAVE AND BARON BEACH TOUR (7 HOURS)
Early morning, we drive approximately 45 Km. to the east part of Yogyakarta to Wonosari, drive through the so call “Pegunungan Seribu” or thousand mountains range. Enjoy the landscape along the way until we reach the Sumuluh Cave. Afterward, we will explore the beauty of the natural stalactites and stalagmites, decorating the cave in their various shapes. The journey is challenging, because the difficult terrain, sometime it requires us to swim in the underground river which has very clear and pure water. After exploring the cave and cleaning ourselves of mud, coffee break, then rejoin the coach to continue the journey to visit Sundak, Krakal and Baron beaches. On the way back to Yogyakarta, there is opportunity to visit the wooden mask makers. Lunch will be provided at local restaurant en route / Lunch box.
CERME CAVE TOUR (5 HOURS)
Cerme cave lies about 25 Km. southern part of Yogyakarta City, passing through the unique landscapes and villages to reach this cave. After a short briefing about the cave, start to explore Cerme cave with full of natural beauty of stalactites, stalagmites, pilar rocks and many kind of ornaments which is formed all over the years until now. We will walk underground through the cave in winding path with underground river. After cleaning ourselves of mud and rest at the simple base camp, driving back to hotel
GONG CAVE TOUR (11 HOURS)
Full day excursion to Gong cave in Pacitan East Java, via southern part of Java, enjoy scenic view of the South Limestone Hills along the way to see the underground beauty of Gong cave. Walking around the tunnel about 256 meters which full of incredible ornaments. Afterward, continue to visit Tabuhan cave, where visitor can enjoy special music, which is sounded by stalactites and stalagmites. Stop at traditional jim stone’s industry before drive back to hotel. Lunch box is included.
MERAPI DAILY LAVA TOUR (6 HOURS)
At 02.00 a.m. drive to Kaliurang, in the northern part of Jogja, a cool hill resort up on the slopes of Mt.Merapi. After a short briefing concerning the track, then on foot trekking along the slope of Mt.Merapi to watch lava flowing from the crater of the volcano. Going down to Kaliurang after sunrise while enjoying singing of birds. After breakfast, rejoin the coach for a drive back to Yogyakarta City.
MERAPI OFF THE BEATEN TRACK TOUR (6 HOURS)
At 07.00 a.m. drive to Kaliurang. After a short briefing concerning the track, we will hike and explore some interesting objects on the foot hill of Mt.Merapi, passing through the tropical forest, if there is a good luck we can clearly see the beauty of Mt.Merapi. Lunch will be provided before driving back to hotel.
