Java Antique Train Experience
Day 1 : ……………... / JAKARTA / CIREBON (L,D)
- Arrival Jakarta International Airport ext. morning flight, meeting service with our Guide and our Bus, then direct visit to Transportation Museum in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah where steam locomotives are on display.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Late afternoon transfer to Gambir Train Station for departure to Cirebon by train “Cirebon Express” ETD.17.10. Arrival in Cirebon ETA.19.50, immediately check in HOTEL SANTIKA CIREBON for accommodation and Dinner.
Day 2 : CIREBON / TEGAL (B,L,D)
- Breakfast at hotel, afterward visit to
- Sindang Laut Sugar Mill to see the activity of steam locomotive within the fabric included charter the loco.
- Lunch will be provided at local restaurant .
- Afternoon visit to Tersana Baru Sugar Mill to see the activity of steam locomotives, afterward transfer to Tegal.
- Arrive in Tegal, immediately transfer to HOTEL BAHARI INN TEGAL for accommodation and Dinner.
Day 3 : TEGAL (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast at hotel, visit to Jatibarang Sugar Mill to see the activity of steam locomotives shunting.
- After Lunch at local restaurant, visit to
- Pangka Sugar Mill, to see steam locomotives at works and charter the loco out into the fields.
(Coffee Break will be provided at Pangka Sugar Mill).
- Overnight and Dinner at HOTEL BAHARI INN TEGAL.
Day 4 : TEGAL / SEMARANG (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast at hotel,
- Morning transfer to Semarang include stop to visit Sumberharjo Sugar Mill to see the steam locomotive on shunting duties and impressive steam machinery in the mill, afterward
- Lunch at local restaurant,
- Visit to the Sragi Sugar Mill to see the activities of steam locomotives and see the depo.
- Afterward transfer to Semarang, overnight and Dinner at HOTEL GRAHA SANTIKA SEMARANG.
Day 5 : SEMARANG / AMBARAWA / YOGYAKARTA (B,L,D)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Morning (06.30) transfer to Yogyakarta en-route stop to visit Ambarawa Locomotive Museum.
- At 08.00 on board of steam locomotive train with rack locomotive of B25.02/B25.03 from Ambarawa Train Station up to Bedono Train Station (12Km. up to the hill) / v.v.
- Arrival in Ambarawa at 11.00 , then coffee break and traditional dance performance.
- At 11.30 on board of steam locomotive of E10.60 from Ambarawa Train Station to Jambu Train Station / v.v. (the distance ± 6 Km.) due to the power of the steam loco is not possible for trekking the hill.
- At 13.30 expected to arrive in Ambarawa Station, then direct transfer to Eva Coffee Restaurant for Lunch.
- After Lunch transfer to Yogyakarta and check-in HOTEL MELIA PUROSANI for accommodation.
- Evening Dinner at Purawisata Restaurant and continued Ramayana Ballet Performance.
Day 6 : YOGYAKARTA / BOROBUDUR / SOLO (B,L,D)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Morning Borobudur Tour, to visit Borobudur Budhist temple, Pawon & Mendut temple.
- Drive back to Yogyakarta for City Sightseeing, to visit Lempuyangan Train Station for have a look & making picture of steam locomotive which made of 1911, afterward visit to Sultan’s Palace, Tamansari water castle, bird market, batik home industry and silversmith in Kotagede.
- After Lunch at local restaurant in Yogyakarta, transfer to Solo by coach include stop to visit Prambanan Hindu temples complex from 9 century.
- Arrive in Solo, transfer direct to HOTEL LOR IN SOLO for accommodation.
- Evening Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 7 : S O L O (B,L,D)
- Breakfast at hotel, visit to Tasik Madu Sugar Mill, home to one of the largest Luttermoller engines in Java and special order for vertical boilered steam roller to be steamed for group and charter the loco for photography.
- Lunch at local restaurant (could be in the complex of Tasikmadu Sugar Mill).
- Afternoon visit to Sukuh Erotic Temple using local transportation (charter) for the distance of 12 Km.
- Evening dinner at local restaurant.
- Accommodation at HOTEL LOR-IN Solo.
Day 8 : SOLO / CEPU (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Cepu via Ngawi & Madiun, include stop to visit :
- Purwodadi Sugar Mill, in this place we can find good mill machinery, where we will take a special cane train into the fields. Then t ransfer to Rejosari, included Lunch at local restaurant en-route / at Rejosari Sugar Mill, then visit
- Rejosari Sugar Mill, to see steam locomotives at the depo.
- Visiting Gandu “gamelan” home industry include coffee break.
- Afterward drive to Cepu via Ngawi, Dinner & overnight at MEGA BINTANG SWEET HOTEL.
Day 9 : C E P U (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast at hotel, morning & afternoon steam loco tour at Cepu Forestry Railway from depo to TPK. (woods store) and supposed the bridge ready could be continued into the field (Gubuk Payung).
- Coffee break and gamelan music included. Lunch will be provided at Mega Bintang Sweet Hotel.
- Dinner and overnight at MEGA BINTANG SWEET HOTEL.
Day 10 : CEPU / JOMBANG / PROBOLINGGO (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast, transfer to Probolinggo via Jombang to visit Gempol Krep Sugar Mill which has Luttermoller locos and to see steam locos at works in the area of sugar mill.
- Lunch at local restaurant, then
- Continued to Probolinggo by coach, on arrival in Probolinggo, check in HOTEL RATNA (or other hotels similar) for accommodation.
- Evening Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 11 : PROBOLINGGO / SITUBONDO (B,L,D)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Morning check out from hotel and depart to visit Asembagus Sugar Mill for charter steam locos into the fields.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Afternoon, visit to Olean Sugar Mill, to see the activities of steam locomotives at works, immediately <
- Check in HOTEL ROSALIA INDAH SITUBONDO or HOTEL SIDOMUNCUL 2 on the beach side.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 12 : SITUBONDO / SEMBORO / PROBOLINGGO (B,L,D)
- After Breakfast at hotel, depart for transfer back to Probolinggo included stop to visit
- Semboro Sugar Mill for trains charter using 2 available steam locos, morning & afternoon.
- Lunch at local restaurant, then continued drive to Probolinggo and check in HOTEL RATNA for accommodation.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 13 : PROBOLINGGO / SURABAYA (B,L,D)
- Early morning Bromo Sunrise Tour depart at 03.00 AM from hotel to see sunrise from the top of Mount Bromo and we expect to arrive at hotel at 08.00 AM.
- Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Probolinggo train station for departure to Surabaya by regular train.
- Lunch will be provided at local restaurant / Lunch box..
- On arrival Surabaya train station, immediately transfer by coach to HOTEL NOVOTEL SURABAYA for accommodation and Dinner.
Day 14 : SURABAYA / ……………. (B)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Full day free program on own leisure, until the time to transfer to SUB. Airport for departure to the next destination.
