GRAND ASMAT ADVENTURE TOUR 10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS
Day 1 : ARRIVAL TIMIKA
Arrive at Timika airport, meeting service then transfer to Traditional harbor. Two days cruising up to the wild South Coast of Irian by big long boat. Afternoon ,arriving at small island and overnight stay. Accommodation and Meals will be provided by your professional guide.
Day 2 : ON THE WAY TO AGATS
Next morning after simple breakfast boarding again to the boat and start your four hours cruise to reach Agatz. On arrival check in at very simple accommodation. Free program.
Day 03 : AGATZ – OWUS
After simple breakfast commence our boat adventure to explore Asmat Region. The village will be visited first is Per, after seeing around heading your cruise in one and half hours to Owus. Arrive then overnight stay at long house. Afternoon seeing the village surrounding.
Day 04 : OWUS (Full day Cultural Festival)
All day long in Owus village experiencing Cultural Festival which is attended by hundreds at eccentric Asmat people. Dinner and enjoy talk with them.
Day 05 : OWUS – BRITTEN – BIWARLAUT – JOW
Simple breakfast served, boarding to the boat then starting our river cruise, inland stop at another Asmat villages, Britten and Biwarlaut. Here you can buy direct wood handicraft to the local people. Afterward get on the boat then cruising via Arafuru sea on forest river to Jow. Arrive and settle our tend for overnight stay.
Day 06 : JOW – OCENEP
After early breakfast, boarding to our boat then leave Jow for Ocenep, we need for three hours cruising to reach Ocenep. Inland stop at Amandeep to see the daily activities of local people. Afterward continued to our boat trip to Ocenep, late afternoon arrive. Settle a tent for overnight stay. All meals will be provided by your professional guide.
Day 07 : OCENEP – AGATZ
Simple breakfast served. Your opportunity to buy souvenirs direct to local people before continuing the adventure to explore others Asmat village then cruising directly to Agatz. Arrive and check in at simple accommodation.
Day 8 -9 : AGATZ – TIMIKA
Simple breakfast served. An eight hours trip to Puriri island passing thru the wild south coast of Irian by big long boat./ Being on this small Island, we will spend the night on a beautiful beach. Local fishermen will roast plenty fresh fish for us. Having a Romantic evening under the Stars!!!!! Then continuing our boat trip to Timika. After two – three hours journey to the local Mapurjaya harbor. We will have local bus transportation to the city. Overnight stay in Amole Jaya Hotel in Timika. End of Asmat Adventure.
Day 10 : TIMIKA ON DEPARTURE
Morning at leisure till transfer to Timika Airport for onward flight .
